About the department
The department of Poltical Science Tata College, Chaibasa, was established in 1954 with about 20 students. Since then the strength of the students has gone beyond 700. The department offers U.G and P.G courses under NEP 2020 . The department from time to time organizes different seminars, Quiz and counseling programs for the holistic development of students.
The vision of the department is to shape the young minds in understanding the discipline of Poltical Science in a foundational manner along with the knowledge of national, international, and regional politics and the social framework of the political system, as Politics is all around us.
